Sindh Chief Minister

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah presided over an important meeting in Karachi to resolve pricing control concerns and bring assistance to the public during Ramadan.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister announced a hefty Rs22.5 billion Ramadan gift aimed at easing people’s financial worries. As part of this plan, it was determined that 60% of Sindh’s population would get Rs5,000 in financial aid during Ramadan, bringing relief to around 4.5 million low-income households in the province.

Furthermore, the chief minister underlined the importance of cracking down on hoarders and profiteers, who frequently take advantage of the increased demand during Ramadan to artificially raise prices. It was announced that strict measures would be adopted immediately to prevent such activities and assure pricing stability throughout the holy month.

In addition to addressing economic issues, CM Shah made orders to assure continuous energy supply during Sehr and Iftar. This guideline is intended to reduce inconvenience for those who fast throughout Ramadan.

The handout and the crackdown on price gouging demonstrate the government’s commitment to assisting the Sindhi people during this holy month.

As Ramadan approaches, officials are taking preemptive efforts to guarantee that citizens may enjoy the holy month with peace of mind and financial stability.
