KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain in several Sindh cities during the next few days.
According to the Department of Meteorology, rain may fall in Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, Qamber, and Shahdadkot in the next days, while Karachi will likely remain partly overcast today and tomorrow.
According to the Meteorological Department, a series of western winds are expected to approach Balochistan tonight, resulting in rain and thunder from this evening till March 10.
“Tere is a possibility of rain in Turbat, Kech, Jiwani, Ormara, Pasni, Lasbela, Awaran, Kalat and other areas” .
Earlier, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued a report on the damage caused by rainfall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the PDMA, rain caused roof collapses and landslides, killing 35 people and injuring 43 others in separate events.
According to the PDMA assessment, 346 dwellings have been partially damaged, with 46 fully ruined.
