Karachi Police Encounter: Police killed three notorious criminals and hired assassins in a dramatic gunfight in Ajmer Nagri. DSP Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Salman Waheed stated the suspects were paid to target shopkeepers Yaqoob and his son Jahanzeb.

The suspects, who were planning to flee to Punjab after the attack, carried tickets to Punjab on their mobile phones, further supporting their assassination plan. The attack, initially thought to be a robbery, unfolded when four armed individuals fired indiscriminately at a shop in Ajmer Nagri, sparking chaos.

Police quickly responded, engaging in a shootout that left three suspects dead while one escaped in Karachi Police Encounter. The deceased were identified as Gulfam Anjum, Kashif Waqas, and Aas Muhammad. Their mobile phones provided critical evidence, including photos of their targets and details of their employers, who allegedly hired them over a land dispute within the Meo community in Punjab.

Authorities confirmed police wanted the suspects in both Karachi and Punjab for involvement in multiple crimes, including murder and robbery. The police have now expanded their investigation from Karachi to Lahore, seeking to apprehend those who orchestrated the attack.

A video of the incident shows the suspects arriving on motorcycles, firing recklessly to instill fear. Law enforcement intervened swiftly, leading to a dramatic exchange of gunfire that brought the situation under control.
