Karachi Man Kills Four Women in Honour-Killing Tragedy

KARACHI: According to reports, a guy murdered four female family members, including his mother and sister, in the name of honour at Karachi’s Lea Market.

Police apprehended a man named Bilal and charged him with murdering four women found in an apartment near Lea Market.

Bilal admitted to the crime during the police interview, adding that he murdered his mother, divorced sister, niece, and sister-in-law in the cause of honour.

Bilal came back from Umrah two weeks ago. Police said Bilal accused the four women of having extramarital relationship relationships. The police stated that Bilal had already divorced his wife.

Police found the individuals dead in the flat, with initial investigations pointing to murder. Further investigation revealed Bilal’s motive was his illicit relationships and family issues. Following Bilal’s confession, the police opened a case against him, and more investigations continue.

In a previous incident, a Faisalabad man burnt his wife in the name of integrity in the Raza Abad neighbourhood as she was cooking in the kitchen.

According to the authorities, Sanober’s husband set fire to her in the Raza Abad region for the sake of honour. The guy, Naveed, was apprehended at Allied Hospital Karachi.

According to authorities, Sanober sustained burns on more than 60% of her body in the violent occurrence, and the accused subsequently transported his wife to the Allied Hospital on his own.

Her daughter, Fatima, informed reporters that her dad assaulted her mother.
