Karachi children missing

Karachi, Children Missing: The ongoing crisis of missing children in Karachi has taken a disturbing turn with two more cases reported in Orangi Town. On January 11, 14-year-old Mubashir disappeared after leaving for madrassa in the Pirabad locality. His family has made several attempts to locate him, but his whereabouts remain unknown. Although police filed a kidnapping case on January 20 at Pirabad station, the investigation has made no progress.

In another troubling case, 10-year-old Ayan, who suffers from a mental illness, went missing on January 17 from Frontier Colony. His family reported his disappearance, and police have opened an investigation, examining CCTV footage for potential leads.

Authorities suspect kidnappings in both cases and are actively working to uncover the circumstances of the children’s disappearances.

These incidents follow the tragic death of seven-year-old Sarim, whose body was found in a water tank in North Karachi after he went missing earlier in January.

The rising number of missing children cases also includes the recent disappearances of five-year-old Aliyan and six-year-old Ali Raza in Karachi’s Garden area. Despite ongoing police efforts, the children remain unaccounted for.

Aliyan’s mother, Zainab, discovered her son missing after returning home on January 15. CCTV footage later revealed two individuals on a motorcycle, seen with the children in a seemingly semi-conscious state, heightening concerns about a potential abduction.
