KARACHI: A guy masked as a police officer ransacked a grocery shop in another Karachi robbery incident.

The CCTV footage showed a guy carrying out a robbery in the grocery shop while wearing a t-shirt and khaki pants identical to the police outfit.

Despite many videos of the individual carrying out robberies in a similar manner, Karachi police failed to apprehend the perpetrator.

A few days ago, CCTV video from a bakery belonging to a prominent Pakistani burger company caught an accused police officer committing a robbery.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing an accused police officer committing a heist at a bakery owned by a Pakistani burger franchise on Tariq Road in Karachi.

In the footage, the accused arrives on a bike wearing police trousers and shoes, then holds the personnel hostage at gunpoint before fleeing after robbing money from the cash counter.

“We thought the policeman came to the bakery as a customer,” stated the management.

The accused policeman, who wore a mask during the event, grabbed all of the staff’s cell phones and held them hostage at gunpoint.

Prior to this occurrence, a dairy farm proprietor in Karachi accused Sindh police of a multi-million dollar heist.

The victim said that Sindh police officers conducted a late-night raid on a residence in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth neighborhood.

The victim stated that police personnel forced their way into the residence and tortured them before reportedly taking millions of rupees in gold and cash.

On the other side, local police stated that the raiding police squad failed to coordinate before carrying out the operation.

SSP East has launched an inquiry following the event, hoping to determine the circumstances underlying the police raid.
