IHC granted Sher Afzal Marwat a protective measure against Punjab police and instructed them not to arrest him for any case related to Kasur.
Marwat claimed. Punjab police arrested him for a public gathering in Kasur. The MNA petitioned IHC for protective bail in the case.
Justice Tariq Jahangiri heard the PTI leader’s request. Following initial arguments, the IHC granted Sher Afzal Marwat protective bail in exchange for a $10,000 surety bond.
He was summoned to appear before the appropriate court within two months. Sher Afzal Marwat is facing a variety of charges following the fall of the PTI administration.
Earlier this month, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) extended the PTI leader’s temporary release in a different case.
Justices Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Sahibzada Asadullah heard the case.
throughout his appeal, Marwat stated that 23 FIRs had been issued throughout the province against him on political grounds and requested that the proceedings against him be dropped.
