LAHORE – Prominent religious figure Mufti Muneebur Rehman has declared the Fidya and Fitrana amounts for Ramadan 2024 in Pakistan.
Muslims pay fidya when they skip a fast for health, travel, or other reasons, as following all 30 fasts throughout the holy month is mandatory for all believers. This year’s Fidya sum is structured as follows:

Kafara Amount 2024 in Pakistan
According to Mufti Muneeb, Muslims pay the Kaffara when they break their fast without a justifiable reason. According to Islamic laws, Kaffarah is to give two meals to 60 needy persons. The cost is Rs18,000 for two kilos of wheat flour, Rs36,000 for four kilos of barley, Rs144,000 for four kilos of dates, and Rs264,000 for four kilograms of raisins.
