In her remarks, she stated that on the eve of Diwali, celebrants light rows of traditional clay oil lamps outside their homes to represent the victory of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance, sending a loud and clear message of love, fraternity, and togetherness.
Faryal Talpur stated that the PPP has always protected religious minorities in Pakistan and has advocated and struggled for the equality of all citizens.
She stated that Quaid-i-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto took unprecedented actions to defend minorities’ rights, including launching development and welfare projects.
