Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), emphasized the importance of putting an end to hate-filled politics.
Addressing an election rally in Chiniot, Bilawal said that hate politics will only benefit the country’s adversaries.
He also stated that the country has been experiencing an economic crisis for some years, which has had an impact on society as a whole.
Speaking on the culture of political vengeance, the PPP leader called for an end to the history of political victimization, citing former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto as an example of someone who never sought vengeance on her political adversaries.
Concerning the PML-N, he stated that Nawaz Sharif’s first two terms in office were akin to tyranny, while emphasizing that the PPP has never engaged in vengeance political tactics.
In addition, he told his followers that “he will not like if they speak ill of his political opponents as the competition should be based on manifestos and performances rather than unnecessary criticism.”
He stated that the PPP has always believed in philosophy over hate, division, and backbiting, and urged his followers to go door to door and explain the PPP’s program and economic strategy.
He stated that if elected, he will build hospitals for free treatment in every district, pointing out that the PML-N supremo had not established any free medical centers in Punjab.
