Today is the fourth death anniversary of poet Athar Jedi

The fourth death anniversary of renowned comedian, artist, writer, and poet Athar Shah Khan, well known as Jedi, is being honored on Friday.

He died on this day in Karachi, 2020, after a protracted illness.

Athar Shah began his writing career at Radio Pakistan six decades ago and authored about 700 plays over a 20-year period.

Subsequently, his renowned performance as ‘Jaidi’ in PTV’s Intizar Farmaiye elevated him to national prominence.

His other notable works are Hello Hello, Ba Adab Ba Mulahiza Hoshiyar, Haye Jaidi, Burger Family, Jaidi in Trouble, Laakhon Mein Teen, and Problem House.
