Sania’s father, Imran Mirza, told PTI that “it was a khula,” which refers to a Muslim woman’s ability to unilaterally divorce her spouse.
Since 2022, there have been persistent reports that Shoaib and Sania’s problems may lead to a breakup, and they have been seldom seen together in recent years.
Shoaib and Sania married in April 2010 in Hyderabad, the Indian player’s birthplace, and currently reside in Dubai.
