Blake Lively

Blake Lively has strongly condemned Justin Baldoni for releasing behind-the-scenes footage from It Ends With Us, labelling it an “unethical attempt” to undermine her sexual harassment claims. The footage, made public earlier today, shows interactions between Lively and Baldoni during a scene from the highly anticipated adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel. Blake Lively’s legal team argues that the footage supports her allegations, claiming it was heavily edited to mislead the public.

According to Lively’s attorneys, the video captures Baldoni engaging in unsolicited physical contact with the actress, including kissing her forehead, touching her lips, and commenting on her scent—all without prior consent. They also allege that no intimacy coordinator was present on set, which could have prevented these unwanted advances. Lively’s visible discomfort is evident in her attempts to avoid Baldoni’s actions. This footage, they claim, further validates her accusations and paints a troubling picture of Baldoni’s behaviour on set.

The legal drama continues to escalate. Baldoni filed a $400 million defamation suit against Blake Lively and others on January 16, along with a separate $250 million action against The New York Times. Meanwhile, Lively has filed her own sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios. Lively’s legal representatives sharply criticized Baldoni’s public release of the footage, accusing him of launching a “harassment and retaliatory campaign” instead of following appropriate legal channels. The tension between the two continues to build, leaving many wondering what will come next in this high-profile battle. Baldoni’s legal team has yet to respond to these latest developments.
