Maryam directs the Punjab bureaucracy to operate at max capacity

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered tight supervision of the distribution of Ramadan Nigehban Package hampers to eligible folks at their homes.

During her visit to a model Provincial Ramadan Bazaar Control Room in Lahore on Sunday, she underlined the need for a District Scoreboard to supervise the execution of the Ramadan Package.

She was informed that all eligible persons in the province will get their hampers at their doorsteps by the 10th of Ramadan.

The Punjab Chief Minister chastised the chief secretary and secretary of industries after receiving complaints over the distribution of the Ramadan care package. Maryam Nawaz expressed her disgust after hearing the concerns, asking how bureaucrats could disobey government directives relating the Nigehban Package. She also directed that individuals who were responsible for the delivery delay be held accountable.

The CEO required home delivery to eliminate the need for individuals to wait in huge lines.

“Those who do not completely fulfill their duties will be held accountable,” she told Punjab’s senior bureaucrats.
