On Sunday, Karachi had sporadic light rain and drizzle as passing clouds covered the horizon.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) recorded a 2-degree temperature dip as a weather system moved in from Balochistan, hitting various places including as Clifton, DHA, Nazimabad, Saddar, PECHS, Jail Road, and Baldia Town.
Meteorologists forecast that hazy weather will persist in Karachi, with cells developing around Sonmiani, Bela, and Winder, resulting in periodic light rainfall.
Sunday’s temperatures ranged from a low of 19.5 degrees Celsius to a high of 30 degrees Celsius, indicating a small drop from the previous day.
The PMD’s Early Warning Centre has published forecasts indicating higher-than-normal winds owing to the effects of the coming western storm.
This sequence of western winds has repeatedly impacted Balochistan and is predicted to bring thunderstorms to Sindh’s rural districts, including Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, and Qamber Shahdadkot.
