Karachi: University Student Killed while resisting Robbery

Karachi

In Karachi, a young guy was killed while resisting a robbery near the Saad Bin Muaz Mosque in Allah Wala Town on Monday evening.

Muhammad Laraib, 22, was the eldest of four siblings and a resident of the KDA Employees Housing Society. He was reportedly pursued by thieves after leaving his home. The police have opened an inquiry into the event.

The victim’s body was sent to Jinnah Hospital, where his brother Shahzeb declined a postmortem investigation. Following the boy’s funeral, the family is anticipated to file a complaint.

Muhammad Hussain, Laraib’s father, informed the media that his son was on his way to the gym when he was slain. The father speculated that his son’s reluctance may have been due to data kept on his phone for a rudimentary accounting book he was drafting.

He stated Laraib was engaged and his wedding was scheduled for next year.

Following this terrible tragedy, the number of people killed during robberies in the city has risen to 34 in just the first three months of this year.

Karachi: In January, muggers shot and killed a recently married man in front of his wife at Seaview, which is under the jurisdiction of the Sahil police station.

According to reports, the event happened near Sahil Avenue Crossing in Khayaban-e-Babar, DHA Phase 8. The victim was identified as Muhammad Adnan, 25, the son of Muhammad Ishaq. He was a resident of Naval Colony in Baldia Town, originally from Kalat, a region in Balochistan. Adnan traveled between Balochistan and Karachi for work and had been married for three months.

According to police investigations, the deceased and his wife went to Seaview, a restaurant near Dau Darya. When the thieves targeted the couple, they were taking a walk along the beach wall after finishing their supper. When Adnan resisted the robbery, one of the robbers shot him twice and fled with the couple’s phones, cash, and other belongings.
