UAE Visa regulations have been revised, making online applications mandatory for all visa types and introducing a new processing fee structure. These updates aim to simplify the application process while enhancing security through biometric verification.
New Visa Fees & Online Submission
The UAE embassy spokesperson confirmed that the visa fee is now $69 per person. Applicants must submit their visa applications exclusively through the official online portal.
Required Documents for UAE Visa Application
Once an application is submitted, applicants will receive a confirmation notification. To complete the process, they must provide the following documents:
- Bank Statement: A minimum balance of $5,000 (or its equivalent).
- Proof of Accommodation: Confirmation of hotel booking or residential stay.
- Return Ticket: A confirmed return flight ticket.
- Valid Passport: The passport must have at least six months of validity.
- Visa Fee Payment: Applicants must deposit the visa fee in a designated Al-Falah Bank account.
New Guidelines for Children’s Visas
The UAE has also introduced updated rules regarding children’s visa applications:
- Children Under 5: No requirement to visit the visa center.
- Children Aged 6 to 15: Only a photograph is required at the center.
- Children 15 and Above: Must visit the center in person for biometric verification.
Biometric Verification & Security Measures
The visa center will now handle biometric verification and visa processing. This move ensures enhanced security and a streamlined application process, making it easier for travelers while maintaining strict identity verification standards.
