Punjab News – According to the health department, nine more children have died from pneumonia in the previous 24 hours, owing to the worsening cold weather.
Pneumonia is an illness that causes inflammation in the lungs’ air sacs. Symptoms include a cough with phlegm, fever, chills, and difficulty breathing.
The number of recorded cases of pneumonia among children increased by 275 in a single day, bringing the total in Pakistan’s biggest province to 9,570.
The death toll in Punjab has reached 188. The mounting instances have resulted in significant medication shortages in Lahore, highlighting the critical need for medical resources to handle the growing health catastrophe.
