Karachi: Police capture 5 members of the White Corolla Gang. DIG East Ghulam Azfar Mahesar and SSP Malir Kashif Aftab Abbasi announced the arrest of the notorious gang, known for terrorizing the city.
DIG East Azfar Mahesar disclosed in a statement that the police recovered weaponry and cars from the criminals after capturing them, indicating that the Sindh police intend to kill the entire gang in order to reduce crime in the city.
He noted that authorities should not handle high-profile cases hastily and that the police reportedly arrested the suspects involved in a robbery attempt on foreigners in the Malir region in Karachi.
The police source further stated that the suspects had attempted to bribe officials with Rs 20 million.
DIG East said that simultaneously the federal agency and Malir police have effectively apprehended the gang, which operates in two Corolla vehicles and a motorbike.
Azfar Mahesar stated that authorities expect to arrest more people tied to the group soon. supernews
