Milk sellers in Karachi have reported a 40% decline in milk output, citing livestock mortality caused by the recent heatwave.

According to the 24NewsHD TV station, Waheed Gaddi, a spokeswoman for the milk dealers, has urged the government to assure a consistent supply of milk.

The representative stated that shops are now compelled to pay higher costs for milk on the free market.

He stated that the shopkeepers had formally contacted the Karachi Commissioner and the Chief Minister about the gravity of the issue via letter. – Supernews
