SSP Tauheed Rahman provided details that Nauman, the deceased, was riding his motorbike when two motorcycle-riding dacoits fired at him for not stopping. Nauman managed to grab one of the dacoits as he fell, who is now in police custody and injured.
Rescue sources reported that bystanders intervened and violently beat one of the thieves, causing serious injuries. This incident underscores the growing concern over lawlessness and vigilantism in the area.
In a prior incident in Korangi, tragedy struck when two-year-old Hoorain was fatally shot near Owais Shaheed Park in Sector 4. Dacoits attempted to steal a motorbike from a homeowner who bravely resisted, resulting in gunfire that tragically ended Hoorain’s young life. This heartbreaking event has left the community devastated and in mourning.
