KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh has arranged a train march from Karachi to Sukkur in support of PTI founding Chairman Imran Khan’s release and the recovery of the stolen mandate. Barrister Shoaib Shaheen, core leader of the PTI, and Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh led the march.
The train march was greeted warmly as it arrived at numerous railway stations in Sindh. PTI Sindh General Secretary Advocate Ali Palh was joined by PTI leaders Justice (Retd) Noor-ul-Haq Qureshi, former MNA Fahim Khan, former MPA Jamal Siddiqui, Barrister Ali Tahir, Dr. Masroor Siyal, Haji Nasir Arian, Women Wing Sindh President Sarina Adnan, Arslan Khalid, Jansher Junijo, Rizwan Khanzada, Aman Qazi, Zain Kolachi, Wali Maghiri, Advocate Danial Megsi, and other PTI Sindh leaders.
The Awami Express-facilitated train march began in Karachi and traveled through Landhi Station, Jhungshahi Station, Kotri Station, Hyderabad Station, Serhari Station, Tando Adam Station, Shahdadpur Station, Dor Station, Bandhi Station, Nawabshah Station, Kot Laloo Station, Padidan Station, Mehrabpur Station, Bharia Station, Setharja Station, Rani Pur Station, Gambat Station, Khairpur Station, and Rohri Station before arriving at Rohri Station. At each stop, PTI officials, workers, and civilians greeted the train march and sang chants calling for Imran Khan’s release and the restitution of the stolen mandate, while displaying banners and images of Imran Khan in protest.
Addressing the gathering at several train stations, PTI central leader Shoaib Shaheen stated, “Today, I congratulate the PTI Sindh team. Today’s train march from Karachi to Sukkur is for Imran Khan’s release. Our quest for peace will continue, whether via protracted marches or demonstrations, till Imran Khan is released.” He said, “The manner the people of Sindh have welcomed today’s train march demonstrates that the people of Sindh support Imran Khan.
Sindh’s people will soon be free of dacoits’ grip on governance. Imran Khan will soon be elected and would provide true freedom for the people. Imran Khan is critical to the country’s rescue in the current unfair system.”
PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh claimed, “Today, we are marching from Karachi to Sukkur on the train with chants demanding Imran Khan’s release. This train march is intended to alert decision-makers who believe that such activities will be tolerated. Now, there will just be one voice seeking Imran Khan’s release. He stated that our campaign would not end till Imran Khan was free. The PTI would soon control Sindh and save the people from these criminals. Today, the people of Sindh have spoken: Imran Khan must be released.
