Israel will provide three humanitarian channels in Gaza

Israel claims it has approved the opening of three humanitarian channels into Gaza to allow additional aid into the region.

The Erez Gate in northern Gaza will be briefly reopened for the first time since the beginning of the conflict.

Over 196 aid workers have been killed in Gaza since October, according to the US-funded Aid Worker Security Database, which tracks severe instances of violence against aid workers. Not everybody was slain in the line of duty.

Much of the Gaza Strip has been damaged by Israeli military operations, which began when Hamas-led terrorists stormed southern Israel on October 7, killing around 1,200 people and taking 253 hostages. Over 33,000 people have lost their lives in Gaza since that time, according to the Hamas-run healthcare ministry.
