KARACHI – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has scheduled a post-Eid gathering near the Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum. According to reports, the PTI has petitioned the Sindh High Court for permission to organize the meeting, with a hearing scheduled for Friday, April 5. Barrister Ali Tahir, representing the PTI, indicated in the application that they want to host a rally outside the Quaid’s tomb on April 28. Despite three inquiries to the South DC requesting approval, no response was obtained. The PTI maintains that public meetings are a democratic right, requesting Commissioner Karachi and the South DC to guarantee security while issuing permission.
