According to data, the number of buyers in Karachi marketplaces has grown dramatically after the end of the second Ashra of Ramadan.
The authorities have made a strict security plan while traffic police have also prepared a comprehensive plan to reduce traffic jams and parking issues during shopping hours.
Additional people have been placed around major markets to provide a peaceful surroundings for citizens, while heavy traffic and commuters are banned from entering roads connecting shopping malls by traffic police.
Citizens have praised the measures around shopping malls, and more law enforcement will be deployed in stores till Chand Raat.
The meteorological department of Pakistan (PMD) has once again predicted that the Shawwal moon would be visible throughout Pakistan on April 9.
According to the PMD, the Shawwal moon will rise on April 8 at 11:21 p.m. local time.
On April 9, the moon will be around 19 and 20 hours old. The meteorological agency stated that it would remain visible to the unaided observer for approximately fifty minutes after sunset.
The PMD said that if the moon is sighted on April 9, Eidul Fitr is going to be commemorated on Wednesday, April 10.
