A food delivery boy was fatally shot in Gulistan Johar. Citizens and bystanders apprehended the bandits, and tortured and murdered one of them.
Ali Rehbar, a 31-year-old delivery guy from Johar Chowrangi, was assisting the home with food deliveries.
Following the event, the police arrived at the scene. Three accomplices of the accused left the scene.
The victim’s relatives appealed to the government for justice.
According to the authorities, Irfan, a civilian, was hurt during the incident. A 9 mm handgun and 30-bore ammunition were discovered at the murder site.
Following the incident, SHO Sharah-e-Faisal Raja Tariq was suspended immediately.
Sindh government’s position on street crimes
Sindh government officials stated that the administration is working to address the prevailing law and order issue.
Nasir Hussain Shah, a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA, stated that there should be no single occurrence of street crime, and the Chief Minister convened a meeting to address the issue.
He went on to say that anyone who is neglectful in carrying out their obligations will face severe consequences.
Another government officer, Sardar Shah, indicated that the law and order situation was not excellent during the caretaker administration’s time.
