The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast cold and dry weather across most parts of the country in the coming days, with temperatures expected to drop further in northern and central regions. According to PMD officials, plain areas will continue to experience chilly mornings and nights, while hilly regions may see very cold conditions, especially after sunset.
The department said continental air is prevailing over most areas, contributing to lower temperatures. Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures, particularly during early morning and nighttime hours, as cold intensity may increase. No significant rainfall is expected during this period, keeping weather conditions largely dry nationwide.
