In a surprise team shakeup, Haseebullah Khan has made his ODI debut for Pakistan in the third match against Sri Lanka. Pakistan made four changes to their playing XI: Haseebullah replaces Saim Ayub, while Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, and Abrar Ahmed are rested.
On the bowling front, Pakistan bring in Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and left-arm wrist-spinner Faisal Akram.
Sri Lanka also make four changes: captain Charith Asalanka is out due to illness, and Pavan Rathnayake, Eshan Malinga, and spinner Jeffrey Vandersay come into the side.
Earlier in the match, Pakistan bowled first after winning the toss. Wasim Jr led the attack with 3 wickets, while Haris Rauf and Faisal Akram picked up 2 wickets each, keeping Sri Lanka under pressure.
Sri Lanka was bundled out for 211, and Pakistan now needs 212 runs to complete a 3–0 series sweep.
