Arshad Nadeem, Pakistan’s Olympic javelin star, clinched the gold medal at the 35th National Games in Karachi on Monday with a commanding throw of 81.81 metres — asserting his dominance in men’s javelin.
Competing for WAPDA, Nadeem opened the field with an early leading throw, and no rival was able to surpass his mark. The silver medal went to WAPDA’s Yasir Sultan, with a best effort of 70.77 m. The bronze was claimed by Abrar Ali of the Pakistan Army, who registered 67.68 m.
Nadeem’s victory adds to his growing legacy and comes in front of a home-crowd at the National Games, reaffirming his elite status in Pakistani athletics.
