Petrol price in Pakistan today

The federal government has announced another reduction in petroleum prices, cutting petrol by Rs7.06 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs3.71 per litre, providing further relief to consumers across Pakistan.

According to the revised rates announced by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), petrol will now cost Rs362 per litre, while high-speed diesel will be sold at Rs387.81 per litre.

The new prices will take effect from November 5, 2026.

New Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan

The latest adjustment has reduced the prices of both major petroleum products.

Petroleum Product Price Reduction New Price
Petrol Rs7.06 per litre Rs362.00
High-Speed Diesel Rs3.71 per litre Rs387.81

Before the latest revision, petrol was priced at Rs369.06 per litre, while high-speed diesel cost Rs391.52 per litre.

Second Fuel Price Cut in Three Days

The latest reduction comes shortly after another adjustment announced earlier in the week.

On November 3, petrol prices were reduced by Rs5.45 per litre, while diesel became cheaper by Rs3.68 per litre. With the latest cuts, consumers have received further relief in fuel costs.

Impact on Consumers and Transport Costs

The reduction is expected to provide some relief to motorists, transport operators and businesses that rely on petroleum products.

Petrol is widely used by motorcycles, cars and other private vehicles, while diesel is a major fuel for buses, trucks, agricultural machinery and commercial transport.

Lower diesel prices may help reduce operating expenses for transport and goods-distribution businesses, although the actual impact on fares and commodity prices will depend on market conditions.
