The Sindh Government has expanded its ban on rickshaws across Karachi, now prohibiting two- and four-seater rickshaws on 26 major city roads.
The additional restricted roads include critical arteries such as Shahrah‑e‑Faisal, I.I. Chundrigar Road, several Korangi-area roads, Mauripur Road, and others.
This expansion comes under the authorities’ traffic-management drive, aiming to ease congestion and improve overall traffic flow on busy thoroughfares.
Violators risk legal action under relevant traffic regulations.
