Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has addressed widespread reports about his return from the United Kingdom, clarifying that he came back to Pakistan voluntarily despite his UK visa being cancelled. He denied claims of being deported or placed on Pakistan’s Exit Control List, saying those narratives were inaccurate.
In an Instagram post shared after landing, Butt posted emotional scenes with his mother, emphasizing the personal side of his return. He explained that his UK visa was cancelled by the Home Office reportedly due to nondisclosure of pending legal cases in Pakistan and that his legal team is contesting the decision through a review process.
Butt said he will remain in Pakistan while the legal challenge proceeds and plans to appear before courts here in the coming days. Fellow content creator Nadeem Naniwala, who returned with him, confirmed that his own visa status was unaffected and said both creators have secured protective bail in ongoing cases and will appear in court as required.
