KARACHI, September 22, 2026 — Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s 38th birthday was celebrated across Sindh on Monday, with party leaders, workers and supporters holding cake-cutting ceremonies in several cities.
Birthday Celebrations Held Across Sindh
In Naudero, PPP Women’s Wing leader Faryal Talpur cut a birthday cake at Naudero House in the presence of senior party leaders, elected representatives and workers. Participants also offered prayers for Bilawal’s long life and continued success.
Similar events were organised in Larkana, Nawabshah, Sanghar, Naushahro Feroze, Moro and Kandiaro. Party workers and local leaders attended the ceremonies and extended birthday greetings to the PPP chairman.
PPP Leaders Highlight Bilawal’s Political Role
During the celebrations, PPP leaders spoke about Bilawal’s political career and his role in the party. They also referred to his involvement in national and international political affairs.
PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro congratulated Bilawal and said the party would continue working for democracy, the Constitution and parliamentary institutions under the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Party officials also highlighted Bilawal’s advocacy of what they described as Sindh’s constitutional rights and referred to the 18th Amendment and the NFC Award in their remarks. These statements reflected the PPP leaders’ own assessment of Bilawal’s political record.
Celebrations Continue in Karachi
In Karachi, the PPP organised a birthday ceremony in District East. Sindh Labour Minister Saeed Ghani, PPP Sindh General Secretary Senator Waqar Mehdi and other party officials attended the event.
Several thousand party workers and local office-bearers were reported to have participated in the ceremony. Saeed Ghani spoke about Bilawal’s role within the PPP and his position as a younger-generation party leader.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Turns 38
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was born in Karachi on September 21, 1988. He became chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party following the assassination of his mother, former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, in December 2007.
His 38th birthday was also marked by ceremonies outside Sindh, including an event at the PPP central secretariat in Islamabad, where party leaders and workers cut a cake and offered prayers for his wellbeing and success.
