Major airlines operating from Pakistan’s primary airports are facing widespread disruptions, as several flights across domestic and international routes have been cancelled or delayed. For instance, Qatar Airways cancelled flights 604/605 between Karachi and Doha, AirSial cancelled multiple trips between Karachi–Islamabad and Karachi–Lahore, and a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Karachi to Islamabad (PK300) was delayed by five hours.
Flight operations are being hampered amid an ongoing dispute between PIA’s management and its aircraft engineers, along with reported technical constraints such as spare-part shortages.
