Pakistan has welcomed its second shipment of U.S. crude oil — around 1 million barrels of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) — delivered to the offshore terminal of Cnergyico PK Limited near Hub, Balochistan.
This milestone aligns with the country’s broader strategy to diversify its crude oil sources, reduce dependency on Gulf suppliers, and strengthen energy security.
The import is part of a planned series of U.S. shipments under a trade framework between Pakistan and the U.S., with a third cargo already scheduled for early 2026.
