Pakistan warm response at Heimtextil 2026

Pakistan’s home textile and carpet exporters have received a warm response from international buyers at Heimtextil 2026, the world’s largest home textile trade exhibition, held in Frankfurt, Germany. Pakistani products displayed at the event which features over 3,100 exhibitors from 65 countries are attracting strong interest, raising hopes for a revival in export growth for the nation’s textile sector.

Pakistan is participating in Heimtextil as the fourth-largest exhibiting country, with 285 companies showcasing a wide range of home textiles. For the first time, Pakistani carpet exporters have also joined the exhibition, further expanding the country’s presence at this key global marketplace.

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has organised a national pavilion for exporters including 58 small and medium-sized companies providing them with direct engagement opportunities with European buyers and offering insights into trends, quality standards and commercial demand across major markets.

Exhibitors reported high foot traffic at Pakistani stalls, noting that spacious placements in busy areas within the venue have helped maintain strong visitor interest since the start of the exhibition. Several participating businesses said they expect expanded export opportunities, with growing demand for both traditional and eco-friendly products.
