The federal government of Pakistan has declared two public holidays for December 2025, according to a notification released by the Cabinet Division.
Under the announcement:
- December 25, 2025 will be observed nationwide as a holiday in honour of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas.
- December 26, 2025 will be a holiday specifically for the Christian community across Pakistan.
The move allows workers, students, and public-sector employees to observe both national and minority-community commemorations without disruption to regular business days.
