A passenger who arrived in Karachi from Saudi Arabia via a private airline has tested positive for Monkeypox during entry screening at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, according to airport sources.

The individual reported suffering from a continuous fever for five days prior to arrival, prompting immediate isolation and sample testing.

After confirmation of the infection, the patient was transferred to the Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital for treatment and monitoring in dedicated isolation facilities.
