Pakistan is observing Kashmir Solidarity Day today, February 5, with nationwide events aimed at reaffirming support for the people of Indian-Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
A public holiday has been declared as rallies, seminars, and other programmes take place in Karachi and across the country to highlight the struggle of Kashmiris and alleged human rights violations in the occupied territory. Speakers at various events will pay tribute to the sacrifices of Kashmiri people, draw attention to ongoing issues in IIOJK and convey to the international community that Pakistan remains committed to extending moral and diplomatic support to Kashmir.
