Water supply across Karachi was disrupted after maintenance work at Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) impacted supply lines at Dhabeji Pumping Station.
According to KWSC, the shutdown was due to planned maintenance — a step necessary to address ongoing issues at the pumping station.
Several parts of the city — particularly those dependent on Dhabeji for water supply — experienced shortages.
Officials have urged residents to conserve water and store reserves until the maintenance completes and supply normalises.
