Flight services between Karachi and Quetta have officially commenced, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) announced on January 16, 2026. The resumption marks the reinstatement of a key domestic air link that had seen periodic disruptions in recent weeks due to operational and scheduling irregularities at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. Under the renewed service schedule, regular flights will operate between the two major cities, facilitating travel for business passengers, government officials, and ordinary commuters. The PAA emphasised that flight operations are now stable and that passengers should check their bookings with respective airlines for up-to-date departure and arrival times. As part of broader domestic connectivity improvements, private carriers such as AirSial are also planning scheduled services on this route with multiple weekly flights using Airbus A320 aircraft.
