In a major robbery in Karachi’s upscale Bahadurabad area, four armed men on motorcycles targeted a man returning home from Shahrah-e-Faisal and seized a large haul of gold and cash, police said. The assailants grabbed about 200 tolas of gold and $100,000 in cash—valued at over Rs130 million—before fleeing the scene despite the area being monitored by Safe City cameras and the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC). Authorities have secured CCTV footage from multiple locations and registered a case at the Bahadurabad police station. Police say they are conducting raids and expect arrests soon as they investigate the incident.
