The traffic authority in Karachi has issued a directive banning heavy vehicles on the route connecting Malir Halt to Jinnah Avenue. Karachi Commissioner’s Office announced that starting 11 November, no heavy traffic will be permitted on Jinnah Avenue following a recommendation from the Regional Transport Authority.
Goods-transport vehicles, however, will still be allowed to operate via alternate paths, including the National Highway and the Sassi Toll Plaza.
