Faisal Vawda, a senior politician, warned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that the party risks being reduced to “minus one” — or could be completely eliminated — if it continues what he called confrontational politics.
Vawda said that PTI must seek dialogue with state institutions and cease anti-establishment rhetoric. He argued that the “countdown for anti-state propagandists” has begun and implied there will be no tolerance for further destabilising moves.
His remarks came amid a broader crackdown by authorities on PTI leaders and activists, following recent violent incidents and what officials describe as “anti-state propaganda.”
