A dead body was discovered inside the closed office of Thai Airways at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Saturday evening, airport officials confirmed. The deceased has been identified as Irfan Baig, the Airport Services Manager for the foreign airline, whose body was found on the fourth floor of the airline’s office in Terminal 1 after staff opened the premises.
Authorities reported Baig had been missing since the previous night before his remains were discovered. Airport health department officials indicated that he may have died of a heart attack, although a full investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of death.
