Square Enix and Deck Nine have officially unveiled Life Is Strange: Reunion, the next major entry in the Life Is Strange franchise, slated for release on March 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game serves as a direct sequel to 2024’s Life Is Strange: Double Exposure and reunites series protagonists Max Caulfield and her best friend Chloe Price in a new narrative adventure.
Set once again at Caledon University, Reunion begins with a devastating fire that kills students and faculty, leaving Max the sole survivor thanks to her time-rewinding power. Using this ability, she travels back three days to prevent the disaster, only to find Chloe returning to her life under mysterious circumstances, haunted by memories from a timeline she never lived. Both characters are playable, with Max wielding her classic Rewind power and Chloe using her signature Backtalk mechanic to influence situations in ways Max cannot.
Developers describe the title as a culmination of Max and Chloe’s long-running story arc, offering players emotional choices and deep narrative ties to earlier entries in the series. Pre-orders for multiple editions, including Standard, Deluxe, Twin Pack, and a Collector’s Edition, are now available, with exclusive digital and physical bonuses for early buyers.
