On 20 November 2025, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan rose markedly, reaching Rs 431,562 per tola, while the 10-gram rate climbed to Rs 369,994 according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association.
The silver rate stood at Rs 5,422 per tola (and Rs 4,648 per 10 grams) across major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.
Analysts say the surge is driven by upward moves in the global bullion market combined with rupee depreciation—the dual pressure pushing domestic gold prices higher.
