A provincial legislator from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has condemned the use of images of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in the recent Indian film Dhurandhar, describing the inclusion as “unlawful” and a deliberate attempt to malign her legacy.
According to the PPP lawmaker, the film misuses national-political symbols, including party flags, and seeks to portray the PPP in a negative light by associating it with terrorism.
The lawmaker called on Pakistani authorities to treat this as “propaganda” and take legal or diplomatic action to protect the dignity of a former national leader and preserve national sentiment.
