Daniel Curtis Lee Shares Update on Homeless Co-Star Tylor Chase

Daniel Curtis Lee Tylor Chase update

Daniel Curtis Lee, known for his role as Simon “Cookie” Nelson-Cook on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, has shared an update on his former co-star Tylor Chase, who was recently seen experiencing homelessness in California after a viral video brought attention to his struggles. Lee took to Instagram to describe how he located Chase in Riverside and spent time with him, including sharing a meal and helping him into a hotel room for temporary shelter during the busy holiday season.

In his post, Lee explained that efforts with actor Shaun Weiss and his team to get Chase into a hospital earlier had initially appeared successful but fell through when Chase backed out. Lee also facilitated a FaceTime call between Chase and his father, and the pair spoke with co-star Devon Werkheiser during their meetup. The actor has emphasised his ongoing commitment to supporting Chase and hopes the renewed attention will help him access long-term care and rehabilitation resources.

Other former colleagues and friends have extended offers of help, including Weiss, who has reportedly arranged options for detox and treatment facilities should Chase agree to receive structured assistance. Supporters and fans alike have praised Lee’s efforts, hoping the combined outreach can lead to greater stability and recovery for the once-prominent child star.
