On Saturday, Karachi police retrieved a lady from unlawful confinement after raiding a residence in the city. She had been persuaded with a job promise.
According to SSP East Dr Farrukh, a police party enticed the mother of two with a job offer and held her prisoner in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 3-A.
According to authorities, the woman was led to a work offer via social media, and when she arrived, she was held by the accused.
The lady was tortured during her unlawful incarceration, and after receiving a call from her, a police unit entered the residence and rescued her, along with four other women and two males, according to the SSP East.
The police investigation into the event was ongoing.
